Akihabara is familiar with a shortened name of "Akiba" by locals. Akihabara has become the world's most famous electronic town for the latest and widest selections at low prices.

The place to find phones, computers, cameras, DVDs, TVs...any and all appliances and devices are gathered here in Akihabara. Akihabara represents the best of Japan's high - tech culture. Many tourists come and experience this famous high tech town with some electronics shops offering duty free to the visitors who have a passport with a valid visa.

Another face of Akihabara is the Anime town. Akihabara is a paradise for Anime/Manga (comic, cartoon) fans. Akihabara gathers the best selections of Anime shopping around Japan: Anime DVDs, Anime Figures, Anime computer games, and Anime books. As Japanese Anime was recognized worldwide, Japanese Anime fans established their space in Akihabara. They even have their societal nickname - Otaku. Otaku means geeks or maniac in English. Otaku means people who are insanely focused on their hobby; for example, Game Otaku for people who dedicate their life to playing games, and Anime Otaku is for people who are extreme fans of Anime.

Akihabara gives you a taste of what Japan is famous for in the world-High technology and Anime. For those tourists who are interested in Electronic and Anime or simple Japanese culture, Akihabara is a great place to be!kevinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07333715574504449437noreply@blogger.com43tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1363034450876416949.post-15238952009492507402011-05-22T02:37:00.000-07:002011-05-22T02:50:08.426-07:00Netherlands Canals of AmsterdamWe all know that Amsterdam is the capital and largest city of the Netherlands, located in the province of North Holland in the west of the country. But did you all know that Canals of Amsterdam has a very awesome sight? Have a trip to the three main canals Herengracht, Prinsengracht, and Keizersgracht, dug in the 17th century, during the Dutch Golden Age, form a concentric belt around the city, known as the grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings. The other notable canals are Zwanenburgwal, Brouwersgracht, Kloveniersburgwal. I've a bit problem to spell the names of the canals but I guarantee you'll like the view.kevinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07333715574504449437noreply@blogger.com13tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1363034450876416949.post-12244143073290973202011-05-22T01:45:00.000-07:002011-05-22T02:37:40.519-07:00Vietnam Ho Chi Minh CityFirst time arrived, I wasn't struck although I couldn't speak their language because the situation in The international airport there which is called Tan Son Nhat was clean and tidy. The immigration officer also welcome us warmly. I just prepared not so much Dong (Vietnam money)as I have no plan to stay long at first. This is a city to explore on bike or foot. The city was so crowded but clean enough. Districts 1 and 3 are very well kept up and contain many nice restaurants, hotels, museums and many of the attractive tourism. We could take a look at historical French buildings in District 1 that still well taken care although already 50 years. Later from Ho Chi Minh City, traveled to the Cu Chi Tunnel and War Remnant Museum that used to be a war place long time ago. Don't miss to travel with small boat to the Mekong River Delta where you can felt the traditional atmosphere of local inhabitants.kevinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07333715574504449437noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1363034450876416949.post-36896196077477800122011-05-22T01:28:00.000-07:002011-05-22T01:35:38.427-07:00United Kingdom London EyeHaving a long trip to England would be great choice as there are so many historical and travel places that I like a lot. One of them is The London Eye (Millennium Wheel) at a height of 135 metres (443 ft), is the biggest Ferris wheel in Europe, and has become the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over 3 million people a year. The adult fare is just over £15. At the time it was erected it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, until it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang (160m) in May 2006, and then the Singapore Flyer (165m) on 11 February 2008. However, it is still described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel" (because the entire structure is supported by an A-frame on one side only).
The London Eye is located at the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, United Kingdom, between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge. The site is adjacent to that of the former Dome of Discovery, which was built for the Festival of Britain in 1951.
A souvenir photograph of passengers in the capsule is taken automatically by a hidden camera (also for security purposes) as they approach the end of the flight. Tickets can be booked in advanced or depending on availability on arrival at the eye.So, what re you waiting for? Let’s go here guys…kevinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07333715574504449437noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1363034450876416949.post-42520726321882457762011-05-22T01:22:00.000-07:002011-05-22T01:26:22.917-07:00Hong Kong Avenue of StarsThe Hong Kong Avenue of Stars is located in Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, one of Hong Kong's latest attractions celebrating its reputation as the Hollywood of the East, offering incredible panoramic views of the famed Victoria Harbor and the memorable Hong Kong skyline.
If you adore popularity of Hong Kong movies so much, The Avenue of Stars will show you uniquely spectacular harbor by offering visitors a glittering experience of the glamorous galaxy of stars. What tourists can get from The Avenue of Stars features are commemorative plaques, handprints of movie celebrities, descriptive milestones, and kiosks with movie memorabilia, a towering Hong Kong Film Awards statuette, and its other attractions include a 2-metre bronze statue of Hong Kong's legendary kung fu star, Bruce Lee.kevinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07333715574504449437noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1363034450876416949.post-81187100400491487242011-05-22T01:17:00.000-07:002011-05-22T01:22:09.336-07:00Malaysia Bukit Bintang
On my trip last time to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I could conclude that the place I like the most is Bukit Bintang. You might wonder why..But I’ll tell you the reasons. Bukit Bintang consists of all, from shopping, entertainment until food! Yes, I eat a lot coz too much delicious food there. Try the chicken rice that smell so good or the roasted meat (not sausage sold in there, it’s the worst sausage I ever eat in my life!). Along this street, everybody have their relax time, chit chat and many pedestrians walk around. You don’t have to scare to get hit by car coz the road is so wide. At night, this place is crowded by so many tourists as you can find hotel resort easily. Along the street, there are so many tourists and local people supper and walking or buy souvenirs until midnight. And lots of shopping malls you can go. This place is also close to Bus Station Puduraya. So, it’s really a strategic location for travelers.
kevinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07333715574504449437noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1363034450876416949.post-1843588496034315952011-05-22T01:02:00.000-07:002011-05-22T01:08:27.286-07:00Thailand Yung Island / Mosquito IslandAnother Unique travel place in Thailand is Koh Yung Island or Mosquito Island which is located near Phi Phi Don Island and is a great place for a day trip. Many holiday travelers take day trips to nearby islands in order to enjoy the best of Phi Phi..The island gets it's name from the black clouds of mosquitoes at sunset at certain times of the year. It possesses a rocky beach located to the north of Phi Phi Don, offering some well preserved offshore coral gardens. In this island, you also can see the Leopards Shark...
It is located not so far from Bamboo Island. Long tail boats can take you from one island to another. Divers will especially want to make a trip to Koh Yung Island or Mosquito Island. This great island has some spectacular diving that has divers coming back time and time again.
Snorkeling is the primary diving done on Mosquito Island. You will see some well preserved and stunning coral gardens. Make sure you have your underwater camera with you to take some great photographs in this wonderful underwater paradise.
Those who do not snorkel can enjoy the beach or exploring the island.Keep your camera ready and document your wonderful day trip from the moment you get on the longtail boat until you are on your way back to the mainland or Phi Phi Don island. After just a few days you will see why Phi Phi Islands are becoming one of the most popular island chains for holiday travelers and day trippers alike.kevinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07333715574504449437noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1363034450876416949.post-53033476240519477502011-05-22T00:59:00.000-07:002011-05-22T01:02:32.899-07:00Singapore SkylineMaybe it is a small island but with rapid development, quite dense with buildings, clustered along the
river too, can be known as the model garden city, buildings not so tall due to air traffic restriction, famous skyscrapers (UOB Plaza, OUB Plaza, Republic Plaza – three tallest buildings with the height of 280m).The view at night is pretty amazing...I put it in here coz I like the sight so much..Hope you enjoy itkevinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07333715574504449437noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1363034450876416949.post-1417020568513711772011-05-22T00:55:00.000-07:002011-05-22T00:59:01.387-07:00Indonesia Bali LombokFour hours east of Bali, separated by a four kilometre deep trench, lies the island of Lombok. Reminiscent of Bali 20 years ago, Lombok is still a sleepy backwater - a
part of unspoiled Indonesia.

Dominated by Mount Rinjani, a huge volcano rising 3,700 metres, the island has picturesque rice terraces and flat fertile plains down to the sea. Populated by a mix of Islamic Sasaks who also maintain animist traditions and Hindu Balinese, Lombok is traditional, old style.

Mount Rinjani which dominates the entire island, hides a large and spectacular emerald green lake inside a 4 kilometre wide caldera. Inside - a world of bubbling hot springs, tumbling waterfalls, steep slopes and rare unusual birds. Then if you are a golf lover, go to Rinjani Country Club.

The first in a series of islands that stretch across south-east Indonesia where traditional ways still predominate - women walk with terra cotta vases filled with water carefully balanced on their heads, horse drawn carts form part of the local transport system and local fishing boats line the shoreline. The island's decorative pottery, baskets, and woven textiles are famous throughout the region and you can visit the artisans at their village.

Some Lombok attractions that are recommended for you to visit are Ampenan, Mataram and Cakrangara.
